Smoked Cinnamon (Baking Spice and Smoke): Smoked Cinnamon Bitters are inspired by Old Forester’s Master Bourbon Specialist, Jackie Zykan. Jackie takes us back to her grandmother’s den recalling a faint smell of a sooty, wood-burning fireplace.  The Smoked Cinnamon Bitters were inspired by Jackie’s grandmother. My grandmother’s den always had a faint smell of sooty, wood burning fireplace. She used to make “whiskey cookies” every Christmas, which as a child made you feel like you were getting away with something!

Bohemian Bitters (Spiced Cherry and Chocolate): Inspired by the scent of pipe tobacco. Old Forrester’s Master Bourbon Specialist, Jackie Zykan, recalls a yearly tradition of her father smoking his pipe. Cherry was the tobacco of choice for the Bohemia native and an essential part of the inspiration behind the flavors in Bohemian Bitters. The Bohemian Bitters are crafted using all-natural ingredients, such as sour cherries, clove, wild cherry bark, gentian root, anise, smoked black pepper and cacao nibs.

Hummingbird Bitters (Floral & Citrus Forward): Created with Old Forester Bourbon by their Master Bourbon Specialist, Jackie Zykan.  Jackie’s inspiration comes from the summers she spent in Missouri, where her mother’s family is from. The name Hummingbird is paying tribute to Jackie’s maternal grandmother, Millie. She has always adored hummingbirds and keeps multiple gardens and feeders around the house.
